Mr. Stephen Quarm possesses over eight (8) years hands-on experience in project management. A Communications Consultant, he has developed skills in conducting market research and analysis, preparation of feasibility studies and business plans and project report writing.
He has participated in several insurance assignments, including the preparation of the feasibility study report for the establishment of the GLICO HealthPlan, the first health maintenance organisation to be established in Ghana after the promulgation of the National Health Insurance Act, 2003 (Act 650).
Mr. Quarm was also actively involved in the development of insurance products and other services for GLICO General Insurance Company. This assignment involved the development of general business Insurance products and associated proposal forms; preparation of marketing brochures; and preparation of a manual of operational functions and procedures.
He was also part of a team that developed a child education policy and a funeral insurance policy for Donewell Insurance Company.
As project member, Mr. Quarm has participated in product design teams through the whole product development process starting from the product concept stage through feasibility studies, pricing, policy form drafting, setting of underwriting guidelines, test marketing, design; installation; and testing of appropriate policy administration system, marketing and promotional campaigns, and product introduction to the market.
He has also been involved in the preparation of Employee Handbooks that spell out official policy, codes of behaviour and ethics, standards of practice as they relate to the activities of employees in carrying out their corporate responsibilities.
Prior to going into private practice, he was the Public Relations Manager for Metropolitan Insurance Company.
As a Communications Consultant, Mr. Quarm brings to the team an incisive knowledge of human behaviour and his experience in general project management.
